My goal is to teach skills that help you achieve best performances more frequently, play at a high level consistently, and feel a greater sense of well-being in and outside sport.
I take an evidence-guided approach and draw on my professional experiences. My approach is always guided by my 'why' - your best performances and well-being.
Guided by my 'why' and 'how,' we organize a plan together that's based on your needs and goals. Once we have a plan in place, we work together to troubleshoot new challenges and make sure your plan stays on track.
Through one-on-one coaching sessions, together, we will identify your goals, needs, strengths, and areas of improvement. Collaboratively, we will build mental skills and work together on finding ways to integrate those skills into your practice and play.
Classroom sessions at camps or as part of your team's mental preparation teach athletes about pregame routines, confidence building, motivation, focus, managing nerves, and other aspects of the game between the ears. After discussing what components of the mental game your players would benefit from learning, one or a series of workshops are organizable.
As a coach, you have an awareness of your team's needs. I coordinate with you and supplement your team's staff to offer individualized mental skills coaching to players, workshops that address your team's needs and goals across the season, or a combination of both.
